Rotaract Club Zenica plans to build the city's first fountain that will be fully accessible to people with disabilities. This fountain will have a specially designed basin tailored to the needs of people with disabilities, enabling easier access and use. The project is part of the club's broader initiative to improve urban infrastructure and enhance the quality of life for all citizens, creating an inclusive environment for all residents of Zenica.
Goal
Rotaract Club Zenica plans to build the city's first fountain that will be fully accessible to people with disabilities, providing them and all citizens of Zenica with an adapted fountain at their disposal. This project directly relates to three areas of Rotary focus: 1. Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention - by reducing discrimination against people with disabilities, 2. Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene - by constructing a new water source, and 3. Community Economic Development - as all materials will be sourced from the Zenica area.
Finance
The project budget is 6,000 BAM, which covers the materials for the fountain and the services required for installing said materials.
Rotaract Club Zenica is accepting donations for this project, and our goal is to gather as many collaborators from other clubs as possible. In addition to the fountain, a plaque will be installed to acknowledge all the clubs that have donated to our project. This will not only allow us to express our gratitude but also showcase our Rotary community.
